Adèle Exarchopoulos (born 22 November 1993) is a French actress with partially Greek roots (her grandfather was Greek). She was born in Paris (France) and grew up in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, near the Place des Fêtes. Her mother, Marina (Niquet), is a nurse, and her father, Didier Exarchopoulos, is a guitarist. At the age of 9 she started acting and watching movies. As she said on the French newspaper L’Express, she started taking acting lessons because she likes disguising.

In 2006, Exarchopoulos was spotted by an agent and made her first television appearance in an episode of the French police series R.I.S, police scientifique. At 13, she had a role in the film Boxes (2007).

She also appeared in the films Les Enfants de Timpelbach (2008), The Round Up (2010), Turk’s Head (2010), Chez Gino (2011), Carré blanc (2011), Pieces of Me (2012) and I Used to Be Darker (2013) before making her international breakthrough in Blue Is the Warmest Colour, a 2013 film based on the 2010 French graphic novel of the same name. The film won the Palme d&

They are passionately in love, but while Agathe is all in on the relationship for the long-term, there are signs of Tomas vacillating, a story that develops with a bracingly mature honesty and intelligence about all the characters.

It’s hard to summarize Exarchopoulos’s career without the starburst that was Blue Is the Warmest Color, which won her, costar Léa Seydoux, and director Abdellatif Kechiche a rare joint Palme d’Or at Cannes. But that was 10 years ago, and Exarchopoulos has steadily been bringing her down-to-earth presence to film after film, primarily
