In 2012 George released 3 successful albums via RatPak Records, “Legacy” an all instrumental EP, Lynch Mob “Sound Mountain Sessions” and T&N “Slave To The Empire” that featured original Dokken members Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown along with a host of other guest singers including Sebastian Bach, Tim “Ripper” Owens, dUg Pinnick and Warrant singer Robert Mason)  & the album  features remakes of 5 classic Dokken songs and 7 new original songs. In 2014 George released Lynch Mob “Unplugged – Live From Sugar Hill Studios” (Rat Pak Records) an all-acoustic performance of their classic hits. In 2013 George formed KXM a super-group trio that featured King’s X front man dUg Pinnick and Korn drummer Ray Luzier. Their debut album released in March on Rat Pak Records and landed #31 on the Billboard top 200. Later that year in December, George hit #6 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart with the critically acclaimed Lynch Mob “Sun Red Sun” (also on Rat Pak Records) that featured Oni Logan, Robbie Crane and Scot Coogan. George Lynch was born in Spokane, Washington on September 28th 1954 and was raised in Sacramento, California, and is best known for being in the 80s hard rock band ‘’Dokken’’. He is a highly respected modern guitarist, compared to such players as Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen. He is well known for his stunning legato technique and the common use of the scale he calls the ‘’Gothic Octave’’.

George auditioned to be Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist twice, once in 1979, losing to the late, great, Randy Rhodes (and another time in 1982 to replace Brad Gillis). According to George, he was hired for three days until Ozzy changed his mind and decided to go with Jake E. Lee. Lee, however claims that Lynch ‘Got the gig’, but only went on the road for two weeks to watch the show, and never actually played with Ozzy.

George Lynch (born September 28, 1954) is an American guitarist, best known for his work with the hard rock band Dokken and his post-Dokken solo band Lynch Mob. He is regarded as one of the most renowned and influential rock guitarists of the 1980s, noted for his distinctive playing style and sound.

He is ranked No. 47 on the list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Guitar World magazine[1] and No. 10 on the "Top 10 Metal Guitarists of All Time" by Gibson.[2]

Lynch was born in Spokane, Washington, and made the small town of Auburn, California his home base between 1971 and 1975.[3]

Lynch auditioned twice for the role of lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne — first in 1979, ultimately losing the position to Randy Rhoads. Lynch commented, "I won the consolation prize. Randy got to tour with Ozzy...and I got to teach at his mom's school." He auditioned again
