Rodriguez joined Qatar Stars League side Al-Rayyan in September 2021 and scored five goals in 15 appearances, but the move didn't work out and after just one appearance in the 22/23 season his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
Greek giants Olympiacos signed Rodriguez on a free transfer on the same day, but after five goals in 23 appearances his contract was again terminated by mutual consent in April 2023.
He returned to South America and joined Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A outfit Sao Paulo on a two-year deal. He only scored one goal in 14 matches in his first season but helped the club win the 2023 Copa do Brasil.
